In 1985, Queen released their twelfth studio album, A Kind Of Magic, which began life as the soundtrack to the motion picture Highlander and completed once the band had reworked some tracks after the film was finished.
The album, which takes its title comes from a line in the Highlander script, is home to some of Queen’s most enduring tracks including ‘One Vision’, inspired by and written just after Live Aid, the classic ‘Who Wants To Live Forever’, and the album’s title track, ‘A Kind Of Magic’.
